Passionate and former professional football player, Tom has always been a techie at heart. In his early days of programming, Tom headed up the initial mobile application development at thetrainline.com. He later went on to pursue an MBA at Cambridge Judge Business School, focusing on entrepreneurship and strategy.

Straight out of his MBA, Tom co-founded SyndicateRoom, a data-driven VC fund which focuses on early stage startups and provides access to a well-diversified portfolio. His company takes angel investing to a different level, allowing investors to step away from the problems of crowdfunding but allowing them to diversify their risks considerably.

Tom is also a non-exec director of the UK Business Angels Association, representing over 160 member organisations and over 30,000 investors.
